I read that we (the inhabitants of planet Earth) use over one trillion plastic bags per year. The number looks like this: 1,000,000,000,000 or can be stated as either one million million -or- 10¹².

   

 

Question: Which is the more environmentally friendly bag to use for groceries?  Paper or plastic.
