2026 Dead American Soldiers as of today



We had a great weekend at the Wisconsin cabin with our friends Paul and Tom. The fall colors were simply spectacular. We enjoyed some great wines, a fire on the shore, and had a quiet walk in the woods. Before breakfast we talked about how we each envisioned our lives would be in ten years. Since then (i.e. in the last 24 hours) seven U.S. troops were killed in Iraq. Who knows how many civilians. I imagine that last week or last month, perhaps even on Saturday, these soldiers were having similar conversations with their friends; wondering how their lives would be in ten years.
